FAQs

+ What’s included in your video services?

Generally speaking, it depends on your project. The scope of work changes for each project of mine, and I sometimes hire out roles if the project calls for it.

I almost always capture drone footage, dslr footage and sometimes a second camera/shooter. I'm frequently acting as the director to help create better images.

We provide all equipment and work it into the price of the project.

+ How Much do you Charge?

This also depends on the scope of work. Projects can be vastly different. Here are some of the factors I use to help determine the price:

  • Hours of Shooting
  • Location
  • Hours of Editing
  • How many Shooters
  • Gear Rentals

+ How Long have you been Filming?

I've been around cameras and editors for over 10 years. I brought my passion to the business around 2019 and have been growing ever since!

+ How Would you Describe your Video Style?

I think my video style is best described as modern & cinematic. I don't work on documentaries, nor do I really have interest in it. But I'm always super interested in using creativity to tell a story. I love gimbal shots, slow shots, aerial footage and just bringing new ideas to life.

+ Do you also Offer Photography?

At this time I do not offer professional photography, because I have not studied it and have not practiced it. I can take pictures of course, and won't charge to do so, but I am not a professional photographer.

+ What does your Camera/Sound/Lighting Equipment Look Like?

My main camera is a Sony A7siii full frame mirrorless digital camera. I pair this with a 35mm f/1.8 lens as well as a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. This is a small enough setup to allow for a quick workflow, while producing beautiful images.

My second camera is a Sony a6600 mirrorless digital camera. This one is paired with a 35mm f/1.8 lens and an 18-135 f/3.5-5.6.

For audio I have a shotgun mic & lapel mic, as well as a field recorder and cables to record directly from speakers, mixer boards etc.

For lighting I have two softboxes, a 5 in 1 reflector as well as other small lights.

For aerial footage, I have a compact DJI air2s drone.

And lots of other little things. I rent gear on occasion, but this is what I use 90% of the time.

+ Do I have to sign a contract?

No, we do not require a contract to be signed. Scope of work will be stated in the deposit, and from there I like to work on a friendly and fast basis.

+ What is your Cancellation Policy?

Due to opportunity cost, I do not offer refundable deposits. However I will reschedule free of charge.

+ Do you use Drones?

Yes! I love to use my drone (DJI Air2s). It helps tell the story in a unique way.

+ Are there any hidden costs?

Any quoted price will be the entire price. No additional fees will ever be charged, unless the client requests for an additional servide outside of the previous scope of work.

+ How does your Editing Process Work?

I'm a bit of a perfectionist. In general, editing the video will take me 2-4x longer than the duration of shooting. I only use 5-10% of the footage captured, and can provide raw footage if requested.

+ How long is your Turnaround?

The turnaround for a project, in general, is within one week. This depends on the type of project and duration. For example, a real estate video can be edited in only two hours. But a wedding video will likely take me 20+.

+ How will the Final Product be Delivered?

Google Drive. I can upload raw footage, and edits directly to Google Drive, which is uncompressed meaning the video is delivered in full quality.

+ Are you Open to Edits/Feedback from Us?

Of course! I automatically include 2 video revisions, as usually there is something to change. And feedback helps me create better videos!
